James Noack | Precinct 3

By Commissioner James Noack:

Representing the citizens of Montgomery County and Precinct 3 is a privilege and a responsibility that I take seriously.

I want to make one thing clear. I will work with any member of the public or elected official on issues that are:

  • legal
  • ethical
  • fiscally responsible
  • in the best interests of the citizens

I support good government and actively oppose measures in opposition of these stated values. I will stand alone to provide our citizens a voice.

When I ran for office in 2012, my platform was based upon me serving as “Your voice on Commissioners Court.” Those words weren’t simple campaign rhetoric. This was a promise to you that I fulfill every day.

Serving as your elected commissioner is an honor and I don’t take the responsibility lightly. It would be much easier on my family, staff, and me if I just played the go-along to get-along game. Because of my family, staff, supporters, faith, and values — I cannot do that. I will not do that.

So when you hear “Noack is hard to work with,” “Noack doesn’t work with the politicians,” or “Noack must stop,” please know; I do what I believe is right. I do what I believe is in the citizens’ interest and I will always align myself with the people over the politicians.

If the differences we faced were purely philosophical, I’d like to think we could, as a court, robustly debate the issues, vote and move forward. Unfortunately, that is not the case. When I took office in 2013, I represented a wave of change in the political arena that now spreads from Montgomery County to The White House.

People are tired of the politicians and their old ways. Things are changing in Montgomery County and we are riding the wave that ushered a new president in November.

I expect during the next few months, and possibly the next year, there will be defining moments for this great county. I need your continued support as we boldly move forward.

With credit to President Trump, let’s make Montgomery County Great Again, together!
