Montgomery County Precinct 3 | James Noack
One lane on Rayford Road from the Union Pacific Railroad to Geneva Drive is scheduled to be closed Monday, July 9, and Tuesday, July 10, in order for crews to place a concrete barrier as they install 1,900 linear feet of reinforced concrete boxes for drainage along the westbound side of the road.

There still will be two open lanes of traffic in each direction, with the center turn lane eliminated as the barrier is installed. The work is scheduled to take a minimum of six weeks. Once the box culverts are installed, Rayford Road will be widened on the westbound side.
