Montgomery County targets Rayford Road congestion with widening project.
“We want to make sure the residents of Rayford Road know they are a vital part of our community and improving mobility is the number one priority of the commissioners office,” said Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack.
“When you look across South Montgomery County, and Montgomery County in general, one of the areas in which we are struggling to keep up with is infrastructure,” Noack said. “Rayford is obviously the number one project out of the Mobility Study and it’s the priority of this office.”
The planned expansion is six lanes at the railroad crossing.
